GIve it a try, it's FREE, no ads and fast. Some features are missing in Swift, like "Lists" and geotagging but according to the author, it will be available maybe on the next update. One of the best twitter apps for Android out there.

Another twitter client for Android, TweetCaster Pro (also available for free with ads). If you like too much eye candy, then this one will work for you but if you want something cleaner then look somewhere else.

You need to enable "Unknown sources" in order to install the Pro version.

UPDATE: TweetCaster is having "A protocol error has occured. Code 400: rate limit exceeded" issues. No new tweets are coming in.

UPDATE 2: Be careful with TweetCaster Pro there is no uninstall option. Restored my HTC Hero!

UPDATE 3: Uninstall by going to Settings - Applications - Manage applications and look for Tweetcaster.

    And now for some screenshots:

Since I got my HTC Hero, I content myself using the build-in twitter client, HTC Peep but that changed when I downloaded Twidroid from the Android Market. Using the free version is not enough for me so I went PRO right away.

    And yet another screen grabs:

We all love Facebook and the android version is fast and stable. I have only one issue with the app which I've tweeted here. I really find it strange how come the developer disabled replying to notifications within the app. Hoping for a fix soon.

Check out image 7, tapping the globe icon will open facebook mobile version (image 8).
