How to kill running apps on Nexus S:
- Home screen, press Menu then "Manage apps"
- Select "Running" and choose the app you wish to close
- Tap Stop, that's it.
I know there are task killers but I never used one since my HTC Hero days.

On my 2nd day with Nexus S and just like the rest of any smartphone users, my first concern is batter life. The Nexus S comes with 1500 mAH Lithium Ion which is said to give:
Talk time: 14 hours on 2G and 7 hours on 3G
Stand-by: 11 days on 2G and 8 days on 3G
I tested the battery yesterday, with 3G on with my usual moderate to heavy* use, and my battery lasted for 12 hours until it reached 10% and i needed to recharge. Personally, I'm not really bothered with this as I have my CAPDASE mPower Battery pack with me all the time, just charge anytime, anywhere.
